CloverDevlog#008
Update from the Team
Hello River Dwellers
This month has been fairly busy for us, and we got a lot of half things done. We apologize that this means this months demo has several partial implementations. With that said we have laid the ground work for some awesome updates to come. Since we now have a save manager we can start storing room data, and making things persistent. Additionally if you read the patch notes you can experience what we have in mind for a seasonal effect. Between these two mechanics we feel that we can begin shaping the main world, and not just the demo. We will continue to work on the demo and making sure that it is in line with real game play, while also working the main game. We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves so we won't say too much on that front. This month we also met with a music producer, and hopefully we will have music for our demo next month. We are really looking forward to working with this person, but it is another topic we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves on.
As for the current version we hope you all enjoy what small changes we have made. Pain&Suffering promises they are working on the art and animations, and they are definitely living up to their name. We were expecting this month to be a wash because our personal lives happened. There were able to work on a new character design, which we are calling Ms. Books (Name Pending). You can check out their image below!
Take care and keep being awesome!
