Update from the Team
Hello River Dwellers
Sorry we didn't post any updates last month. We were very busy with the big refactor, and were working very hard to the point of exhaustion. With that said, we are excited to showcase the changes we have made. The room size has been changed, the menus now are managed with a state machine, and the music notes have been updated to use a hurdy gurdy sound font. I know some of these changes probably aren't going to be very apparent, but to the one like we have been getting we want to make sure you know we appreciate your support! To anyone else viewing this (assuming you are not an AI bot scraping data), we also appreciate you taking the time to check out our game and read up on our progress.
We have overhauled the demo with the new layout, and changed quite a bit. Unfortunately due to time constraints we had to remove most of the temple. The plan is to put it back in with the next update. Hopefully it will feel fresh, and more coherent this time around. Something else to call out, is that if you die to the demo boss the game freezes. We need to look into what is causing that. We are greatly sorry, but we wanted to make sure we got this update out. Hopefully there are not too many bugs, but if you find any please let us know.
On the artistic side we are designing the various homes for our characters, as well as how they will look in the different seasons. In the next update we look forward to overhauling Clover's home to actually feel like home.
Love you Pigeon people! Coo-Coo!
