Update from the Team
Hello River Dwellers
It has been a little over a month since MGC and again we went heads down to work on several updates for Clover. With that said we had a blast showing Clover off at MGC and got so much great feed back this year. Our hopes is that by this time next year we will have determined a release date, or release month, but we will keep you posted on that. With all the changes, we have kind of a big announcement.
We are no longer going to be supporting web builds for Clover. That means the current web build is the last web build that will be available. This is because we updated the Dialogue system and the addon we chose required us to upgrade to used .net version of godot with C# support. Currently the .NET version of Godot we use does not support web builds. If that changes in any of the newer Godot versions we will try to make web builds available. Instead we will have downloadable versions available for both Linux and Windows.
With that said we also refactored several systems since MGC to improve performance, as well as player feel. We noticed some mechanics that people were still struggling with so we are hoping to continue to fine tune them as we go. These changes also mean we need to update our road map as we are uploading the 0.5.0 version, which brings us one step closer to knowing when we will likely be done.
We hope you enjoy your summer Pigeon People!
